Bio: Carlo Acutis was born in 1991 in London on a work trip his parents were taking but grew up in Milan, Italy. Carlo developed a deep connection towards God after he received his first communion in 1998 and started attending Mass daily and saying the Rosary daily and even referred to Mary as "the only woman in my life". In 2004, Carlo decided to start a project, he decided to make a website about the Eucharistic Miracles of the world. He worked on it tirelessly for 2 and a half years dragging his family around Europe to take photos and learn more about the miracles. His family's au pair and house servant, Rajesh Mohur, reportedly would have to tell Carlo to shut down the computer and go to bed due to him losing track of time while working. In October of 2006, Carlo's throat started to get inflamed. A doctor said he was just dehydrated but the inflammation started getting worse and worse until he was too weak to even get out of bed and his urine was full of blood. He was then taken to a clinic that specializes in blood diseases, there he was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukaemia. He was given very little chance of recovery. Then, roughly after 2 weeks of his first sign of sickness, he was pronounced dead. But, on October 4, just days before his death, he was able to see the launch of his Eucharistic Miracles' website. And even today, Carlo is remembered and loved by many.
